California Budget - Too Many Liberal Programs

The sissies in Sacramento that have managed to get elected by the liberals in CA continue to shuffle responsibility for the complete breakdown of our economic condition. The liberals are all up in arms that the conservatives refuse to bow to their demands for more social programs, which in my opinion are the main source of our problem. Not enough good upstanding citizens earning money and paying taxes, too many un- or under-employed people with too many kids with their hands out for money and food. Too many bleeding hearts in government offering too many freebies to anyone who chatters about social justice, the "poor me"s, illegal or legal. When will this "victim" based belief system finally come to an end? People are people, adults are adults, and every adult should be held responsible for their own actions or inactions. Why do we continue to feed, clothe and give free education and health care to every Tom, Dick, Harry, Ethel, Susie and their kids that land in our state? I am a native Californian - I have worked and paid taxes here for all of my adult life. I only had 2 children, because that is all I could afford to raise. Our County hospital is overrun by people with no insurance and no money to pay for their health care, including the delivery of over 300 babies every month. Yet the State of CA demands that we provide service to these people, regardless of whether or not the hospital will be paid. So, how then does the hospital pay it's employees, for supplies and equipment, and all the other costs of doing business? Our Department of Human Services may have to lay off so many people that they will not be able to operate, but then the County will be in violation of State law for not providing access to MediCal (Medicaid) and food stamps. The State is already months behind on paying the counties for the services that the State has MANDATED. The legislature has Mandated services without providing any payment to local government for providing them. My tax dollars are being eaten up by all the social and environmental programs that the liberals have demanded and passed laws for, but since there is not enough money to go around for everything, the basic services to keep people from starving or bleeding to death in the streets are now endangered.
